The 6 inch ( 150mm ) Feed Block is capable of multi feed . Both top and bottom Drive Rollers are driven and are spring clamped together to ensure no slippage .The Motor has a 'soft start' to prevent the fabric being pulled too hard at the start thus reducing the risk of slippage or stretch Accuracy of length is up to ± 1mm over lengths of up to 99,999 mm ( almost 100 metres ) Feed speed is 36 metres per minute with an inch speed , for loading , of 5 metres per minute . The new HMI Panel is the point of input for Length , Quantity , Temperature ( Hot Knife ) and Dwell ( Hot Knife ) .The HMI Panel has been designed for 'easy' use. |

The Ardmel Strip Cutter System has been designed as a free standing ,
robust , heavy duty unit capable of handling the toughest of strip cutting tasks
. It will cut webbing, elastics, cords, cuffing, vertical blinds, etc. with ease
.The Drive and Control Module will accept any of the 4 Cutting Modules , these
being a Cold Guillotine , a Straight Hot Knife , Angle Hot Knife or a new
Vertical blind cut and crease. With cut crease and hole in development. The
Cutting Modules are pneumatically driven , thus giving years of service with a
minimum of maintenance and can be changed in
minutes.
